Horses are meant to be ridden a lot (think of cowboys and such). As long as you take care of their feet and health and happiness overall she’ll be fine.
As for kids riding her, horses are as different as people, one could be homicidal another could be bombproof. Age has nothing to do with it, only personality. Find her personality
You will only be able to tell with time if she can be good for young kids, base your decision on how she acts with you. before you try a child on her, you need to trust her. Try different amounts of work in different days and see what makes her too tired, and what leaves her with plenty of energy. you should be able to find a happy medium with time, every horse is different, but the more you ride her, the more in shape she will get. just don’t over work her. (if she starts to breathe hard let her walk a bit)
How experienced are you with horses? If you are that unsure of this horse have someone with lots more experience evaluate her for you.,(ride her, work with her) Do not put a young rider on her until you know her thouroughly. The more riding time you put into he the better she will become.
