what’s the point of owning a horse if you can ride them whenever you want?
this is a real question, not sarcastic.
Ask for a car, and then let them compromise with getting you a horse. Its cheaper per gallon anyway.
I want a horse and i want one now.
Hey do you want to borrow any REAL problems.
Ask for a fifty thousand dollar throughbred maybe you’ll get a lesser breed for a couple thou. Get a job to care for it your self
well maybe they are going to surprise you
Sorry. I don’t know what to tell you. You seem to have a good argument in your favor, but there must be something that your parents a afraid of. And by afraid I don’t mean that they are scared of anything, just maybe if they say that they know you’re mature enough and so on, maybe they’re are just worried that it will come down to them being the ones to take care of it in the end. Sometimes parents have a way with saying one thing, but really meaning another. I know…I am one. I think if you give them time, and really present your side of it, you may be able to get their approval. It just might take more time than you are willing to wait. I would definately try to find out the real reason that they changed their minds. They might just have a good one.
Mayby they can not afford it and as your parents you need to respect that!
It is NOT just the cost of the horse but also the vet bills and feed bills etc etc.. it is not as simple as one thinks.. their vet bills can add up quick.. maybe your parents talked it over together and went over finances and decided they can not afford that expense at this time.. you need to respect them!
Wait until you can afford one yourself and then get one, but then dont stick the vet bills on your parents.
You are not entitled to anything from your parents. Anything extra other than food, clothes, a roof over your head, health care and education is a luxury and you should thank your lucky stars, and grow up.
Well work as many jobs as possible to help pay for the horse. Be extra helpful and responsible. Learn Spanish to know the origin of the horse and maybe the will reconsider
Is ur b-day coming up? if it is they r probabably going to suprise u. but then again u sound sort of bratty. Adults also have other concerns then buying there bratty little kid a horse. Work to buy ur self the horse. u cant just depend on ur parents to buy everything u want.
I would say that if they let me lease the horse and see if I like it I will mowe the lawn and clean the house for a whole 5 months. Also try to make money. Then you can pay for half of the horse and maybe that will help. I had $4000 in my bank account and that what I did. I donated 2000 to the horse.
